I found it funny that Rick Rubin titled his remix to Justice “On ‘n’ On” - “Ruined by Rick Rubin”. His version was actually so beast, that I immediately locked in the studio to “ruin” the song furthermore lol. Ian played me the video for the original song and I liked it so much that I had to be in it! So Ian and Brad worked their “green-screen magic” to give me my 15 secs of fame in their video ;). Oh yeah, before I forget - here are a couple dates to keep in mind if you’re in or plan on being in TX next month for NSN Festival/SXSW (March 14 - Mission, TX, March 15 - Austin, TX, March 17 - Austin, TX). I really dig how my team has a broad taste in music. From Reek hippin’ me to Dub-Step, to Ian puttin me on to this M83 guy. The music is brilliant to me and I like to experiment with it from time to time. We’re a few weeks away from Divine Intervention and word is it’ll be dropping early for some ;). Oh, and I’ll have some goods to give out while I’m down at SXSW (dates coming soon). Shhh.. keep that between us tho.

I originally had done this track and called it “Shoe City”. It had different verses and whatnot - but after finishing it, I thought it was wack lol. I let it be for a while, then thought to revisit the track a different way. This time, the outcome was dope! Check it out.
